Sourcing

​We make every effort to use Swiss batiste fabrics and linen from Belgium.  We seek to use Mulberry silk from China and India with preference for grades 6A and 5A. We make every effort to avoid anything below grade 4A.

The India and the United States are also our preferred source for medium weight and heavier weight cotton fabrics, although much of the US grown cotton is woven offshore. Regrettably, China is one of the world's largest producers of cotton and some desirable prints are only available from Chinese mills. Because of the poor Chinese agricultural practices, we seek other sources before we buy Chinese cottons.

We seek out laces from the Netherlands, Holland, Italy and the United States.
